Size and hanging guide

Every poster comes in four paper sizes. All prints in a curated set or a set you build come in one size, so they hang as a matching group.

How much wall a set needs

Paper plus a 2 in (5 cm) gap between prints. Add your frame borders on top: each frame adds twice its border width to every print.

Example: a row of four 11 × 14 in prints in frames with a 1 in border is 50 in of paper and gaps, plus 8 in of frame (2 in per print), so about 58 in wide.

Choosing a size

• Above a sofa, bed or sideboard: a common guideline is for the whole group to span about two thirds of the furniture's width. Measure the furniture, then pick the row or grid in the table that comes closest.
• Hanging height: a common guideline is to put the centre of the group about 57 to 60 in (145 to 152 cm) from the floor, or 8 to 10 in above the top of furniture.
• Narrow walls: a 2 × 2 grid takes about half the width of a row of four.
• Try it first: cut paper to the size you're considering and tape it to the wall.

Frames

• Prints ship unframed. Each paper size matches a standard frame size, so an 11 × 14 in frame holds an 11 × 14 in print edge to edge.
• If you want a mat (a card border inside the frame), buy a larger frame with a mat cut for your print size, and check the mat opening suits the print.
